Fort Collins Bodybuilder Going Strong Without Legs

After a very publicized automobile accident in Ft. Collins in January 2007, Tyler Carron lost both his legs. At the time of the accident, Carron was a senior in high-school. He was an accomplished athlete, and a three-time state wrestling qualifier. He and his friend were pulled over, removing a spare tire from the tailgate of their car, when a car hit them and pinned them up against their car, ultimately causing him to loose both legs.

This local Colorado hero has not let his loss of legs stop him from his goals and dreams, however. In 2010, Tyler was named to USA Hockey's national sled hockey team (along with Nikko Landeros, his friend who also lost his legs in the same car accident).
